Bruce Carpenter

Senior consultant brings to the table his wide experience of communication and contacts within the business community. In the early 1990 Bruce understood and seen the need for a different use of timber for framing material within the building community.  At that time he was involved in the harvesting of timber, exporting it to Tokyo and importing money in exchange.  What was a real eye opener for him was on one occasion three logs of such perfect quality they were sold and shipped to Tokyo for a price paid at the landing, in the wood, of $55,000.  On the local market the same three logs the offered was $3,500.  That was an eye opener.  The time for a change was now, framing with old cars replacing timber, save the timber, let it stand for the next 150 years.
